Smarthinking is an on-demand, online tutoring service that is currently available for all online and traditional undergraduate students as well as online Doctor of Education (EdD) in Higher Education Leadership graduate students at Maryville.
Once enrolled, undergraduates will have immediate access to the writing center for select topics, career support, and exclusive access to expert tutors to provide you with academic support in several different focus areas. As an undergraduate student, whether you’re simply seeking writing support or preparing for an exam or job interview, Smarthinking can offer you individualized tutoring support in subjects like:

All tutors are vetted and trained to help you solve problems across a variety of subject matter specialties — and help you retain the information.
Smarthinking tutors have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with 90% holding a master’s or doctorate in their fields. Tutors are also seasoned educators with an average of 12 years of teaching experience, and are passionate about your educational and professional development.
