Assistant Professor in the Healthcare Management and Health Administration programs
Melynda Pryor is an assistant professor in the healthcare management and health administration programs at Maryville University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Stephens College and a Master of Health Administration from Webster University.
Ms. Pryor has over 15 years of experience in healthcare administration and nearly 25 years of experience in management. Prior to joining Maryville University, she worked for Washington University as a clinical administrator for the Cardiovascular Division and Saint Louis University as director of clinical operations. In these roles, she has managed staff (nursing, pre-arrival/pre-certification, scheduling, and administrative), oversight of 15 clinical locations, creation and maintenance of policies and procedures, patient experience, budget creation and review, facility design, workflow improvements, and much more.
