Academic Bio

Jason M. Williams, EdD, serves as the assistant dean in the John E. Simon School of Business at Maryville University and director of the Rawlings Sport Business Management Program, the only corporate-named sport business management program in the country. His research interests are customer service, corporate sponsorship, and product research, which he has conducted for St. Louis Blues, Rawlings Sporting Goods, and St. Louis Cardinals. He is a board member for the St. Louis Sports Commission. Before moving into higher education, Williams worked in collegiate athletics at Florida State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Endicott College, and Boston College.
