Dr. Jenkins, PT, DHS, has more than 20 years of higher education experience. She oversees all Maryville University undergraduate and graduate health profession programs including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, communication science and disorders, music therapy, exercise science, health care management, and rehabilitation counseling.
Dr. Jenkins earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Maryville. Remaining steadfast in her commitment to serve others, she continued her education and earned a Master of Health Science degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She went on to earn her Doctor of Health Science degree from the University of Indianapolis.
Prior to becoming dean in June 2019, Dr. Jenkins served as the assistant dean for the College of Health Professions and the director of the physical therapy program at Maryville University.
